About this project

Indian Springs harmoniously blends a traditional western setting with modern architecture and design. Earthen tones, cast-in-place concrete base, wood siding, deep overhangs, and articulate eaves anchor the house on the landscape. Diverging from heavy and dark wooden construction, materials include stained concrete, weather, and smooth steel, refined stone, reclaimed wood, and rammed earth open living spaces with polished and modern character. These textured materials, some rich with history and age, reflect simplicity similar to the uncluttered European style. The contemporary design of Indian Springs gives the homeowners and guests a sense of warmth and protection from the often-harsh Rocky Mountain environment.
