Inspired by the western landscape and history, Summit Lodge was constructed with regional stone and reclaimed wood – materials sturdy enough for the site’s 9,000-foot elevation.
The lodge-style family vacation home has an open and casual floor plan centralized around a stone core. Exposed wood and stone walls are simple and unadorned, allowing guests to focus their attention towards the beauty outside. Antique furnishings were sourced from around the world and their lush materials pair elegantly with the rugged structure. Four separate outdoor spaces decorated with custom benches and vintage seating give the family unimpeded views of Montana’s Big Sky country. The home respects its local environment and offers guests direct access to the place they cherish.
