Four Deer Ranch’s owners envisioned a home harmonious with the site’s 20 acres of Wyoming landscape. The resulting home’s aged and weathered materials blend perfectly into the mountain setting which also features a trout-stocked pond and footbridge over the Snake River.
Five small buildings compose the 8,000 square foot compound, connected by enclosed timber and glass-walled walkways. French and English antique furniture decorate these spaces and Native American artwork adds a familiar western character. Creative use of lodge pole pine from a Montana corral is integrated into the master bedroom and reclaimed barn wood give the kitchen cabinetry a rustic, sleek look.
Four Deer Ranch is a beautifully crafted home that exudes a simple elegance and allows the natural setting to speak for itself.
