Ansel Haus

About this project

General overview

Lending itself to a sense of discovery, this home accommodates a series of livable spaces that unfold to frame views of distant peaks and familiar meadows. The use of reclaimed materials creates a tangible connection to the history of local vernacular and inspires memories of many family trips to a local lodge.

Built in 2010-2012, this 6,000-square-foot Big Sky, Montana mountain home is made of log, timber and stone.
